Makeney Hall Hotel offers the versatility of our four different business and function facilities making this a popular destination for corporate and social events. The air-conditioned Milford Suite accommodates up to 180 delegates theatre style, whilst the Chartwell and Chevin Suites can house up to 30 and 15 respectively. The Milford Suite is also suitable for large formal dinners and can seat up to 140. The Training Centre at Makeney Hall Hotel, Derbyshire ncorporates 2 syndicate rooms, one main room and a small lounge area, thus providing plenty of scope for group and break out activities. All rooms have natural daylight and can be adapted to theatre, classroom or boardroom layout.

At Makeney Hall the Cocktail Bar offers a large selection of wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks, in a stylish but relaxed environment and the bar menu includes a variety of sandwiches and popular hot dishes. For more formal dining, The Conservatory Restaurant has stunning views over the hotel grounds. The daily and a la carte menus are predominantly 'English Modern' cuisine and wherever possible based around seasonal ingredients. With its elegant oak panelling and impressive oak fireplace, Lavinia's is the prefect setting for a more private dinner.

Some of the rooms are also suitable for families and we have two rooms adapted for the disabled.
